Didn't want to give up Greentree but this seems like a solid deal from the Kings point of view. Didn't have to give up Clarke or NHL player and a conditional 3rd? Ok.

Ken Holland W given that's all we had to give up. Had high hopes for Greentree. As others have said, hope there is an extension AND Kenny goes big game hunting in the offseason. Feels like this is just one step, gonna take more to put us over the hump.

I had high hopes for Greentree making the NHL but he is not an elite prospect at all. Even last year I was saying that Ilya Protas was the best player on that line.

I have been wrong before but I am super stoked right now. Holland got us an elite forward for a middle-6 winger prospect and a third. Compare that to what Brock Nelson got traded for... As long as Panarin extends, this is a great deal. Salary cap space doesn't matter any more.

I swear if this bites us in the ass........

Panarin could be a Gaborik like boost hopefully.
I would think there will another trade or 2 at or before the trade deadline, because even with Panarin in this lineup, and there are no other trades/roster moves, the Kings will barely make the playoffs and be out after the first round,or not make the playoffs at all.Just my 2 cents🙄🥅🏒

3 of the top 4 wingers are Panarin, Fiala and Kuzmenko. None of them fit in Hiller Hockey. It’s definitely gonna be funny to watch.

I always hate seeing young talent traded, because I like watching the young guys develop and make it to the big show. But, I've come to realize that unproven talent is just that. Greentree is not a "can't miss prospect" so you take your chances. I hope Liam gets a chance in NY and he does well.
Now ... what did LA agree to sign him for??? (if that was part of the deal)
