Panarin to Kings

It will be interesting,on what type of impact and how long it will last on this team, when Panarin is in the lineup after the Olympic break. It may last just for a couple of games, and where Hiller inserts him in the lineup. My guess he will be on the Kopi/Kempe line for a few games, and then Hiller will move Panarin up and down the lineup to try to get other players scoring again. What would be interesting,if Hiller put Panarin with Kuzmenko and see how that would be an impact/improvement on the Kings offense.

Panarin would have been a good fit for a team like the Cane’s or a solid playoff team. Not a team that will most likely not make the playoffs. At least he will have a long summer.

Panarin was acquired by the Kings from the New York Rangers on February 4, 2026, and signed the extension immediately as part of the trade process.
