Oof. Lotta negativity in here. It’s 2-1. It ain’t over. Oilers are doing a great job getting a stick on every pass. But we ain’t done. Quick is still up for this.
 
Everytime the Oilers get a Power Play, I get nervous like I would get nervous whenever the mailman would come during Report Card time. :shocked:
 
Ride the momentum of the 2nd and that Pk. Just come out of the gate buzzing, Smith will choke under pressure. We are getting some favorable bounces. The hockey God's will bless us with a come from behind victory. We have weathered the storm so far. Now let's knock them out
 
Come on boys…one period to go to the 2nd round. Oil wasn’t as effective as the first period. You can still win, Kings!
 
Based on the way we have played two periods I’ll take a 2-1 deficit. Time for an adrenaline shot between periods. Twenty minutes to advance
 
Really fortunate that it is only 2-1 going into the 3rd. Could very well turn things around for the final 20mins and close this out.
 
The roles have reversed so far. The Oilers are the better team, 5 on 5, while the Kings have a PP goal and killed the only penalty against. This game is winnable, which is not the direction is was heading the first 30 minutes of the game.
 
Bisonette should remember that he’s not on the ice anymore and he can’t just trash the analysts during intermission. Dude looks like he wants to fight Tochett
 
I finally figured out what annoys me so much about Faust. Back in the 90's - 2000's I used to be an obsessive Angels fan and on the home broadcasts Steve Physioc used to have the most golly-gee, boy-howdy knack for saying the jinxiest ***** with the MOST annoying timing. Like, "Chuck Finley has really had Royce Clayton's number the last few years, he's just 0-14 against him in that time ..." and then the next pitch <dink> HOME RUN!

Faust has that same golly-gee instinct about stats you don't want to hear during nervous time.
