With clean hard hits yes, but we need to take the higher road and not play into taking cheap shots (like Edmonton has done). That said, I really would like to see Lemieux drop the gloves with Kane at some point.

Quick never lost game seven on the road in his career.
He won at San Jose, Anaheim and Chicago.
Yes it was long time ago and different team ,but just based on stats that everyone is talking.
And BTW , Vasilevski who considered best goalie in NHL,lost game 7 to Washington Caps in 2018.

As nice as it would feel, I'd rather just beat them with them doing their garbage.
Them losing again in the 1st round is satisfaction enough for me.

And I misspoke the other night when I said we choked, I was wrong. It was another learning experience.
Come out on our toes from the jump and Quickie doing his thing, I like our chances.

Quick is going to have to be error proof and then some. I’m expecting Edmonton to have a strong first like they did last game. Hope I’m wrong on that……

Yep Quick will need to be on his game. Really think this game, like the others, comes down to who scores first. We need to utilize the fact that Edmonton plays with more emotion at home to our favor and come out strong an hopefully get a goal early.

I agree. We definitely have a chance. This ain't over yet even though most people seem to think Edmonton will brush us aside without much effort.

But remarkably enough, both of ESPN's experts, Kristen Shilton and Greg Wyshynski, are picking the Kings to upset the Oilers, Shilton 4-3 and Wyshynski 3-2. So not everyone agrees or believes this will be a cakewalk for Edmonton.

Echoing most sentiments here, Quick needs to be in vintage form for us to have a chance. And if we come out flat again and the Oilers strike early, it will be a rough road for us. Come out hard, score first, shut those morons up and we'll have a good chance of pulling off the upset. .

The pressure is on the oilers more than Our boys If we lose we had a better than ever expected year and Coach might get Coach of the year. They lose again they’ll be heads rolling.

Think anyone at the beginning of the playoffs thought they’d be a chance of a Kings/Stars second round?
 
Watching the Lightning give a clinic on shot/pass blocking. We need to do that and sell out at every chance to prevent anything positive
and get the Oil frustrated.
