If anybody has video of the "unsportstmanlike conduct" by Draisaitl I'd love to see it...
 
My guess is the refs swallow the whistles for the rest of the game. This game will have to be won 5v5

haha they could keep the cameras on Gavrikov the whole game and I'd be happy. He's such a great player.

He makes me think back to Marty McSorley D days.

I'm thinking of how Marty always ran interference for Gretz to score, where Gavrikov doesn't have that responsibilty to deal with.

Yup. Refs are looking for the even up call on every penalty. They don’t want to be blamed for the result of this game.

And that's not their job. Their job is to call the game without regard to public perception. Call the game.
