That’s about as favorable a 20 minutes the Kings could’ve hoped for. Oilers dominated for half of it then got extremely sloppy and let the Kings back within striking distance.
We didn’t see too much out of Fiala in that period. Let’s hope he makes some magic in the 2nd.

About 4 of those last goals from Edmonton look remarkably similar. They are shooting high far corner on Korpi from the top of the circle on both sides and it's working.
Kings need to figure out how to defend that better and to not screen their goaltender because it's obviously a deliberate strategy.

That's why I wanted Copley. Oilers figured Korpi out. I think it's a strategic shift that would make sense before more goals go in. Even these Sportsnet guys are calling for Copley, which is absurd because they never mention the Kings.
