Yes, there are games where the officiating sucks but I have to disagree that there is some sort of bias. Sorry but it just doesn't exist.

I understand what you’re saying, about bias towards favored teams not being a real thing. But there are absolutely reputation calls, which would certainly fall under the umbrella of ‘bias’. Situations like this I would call a result of something the league calls ‘scenario refereeing’. I’ve seen the document.

Disagree. I think they played to win. It doesn't matter Oilers or Dallas. The Kings have the players to match, they didn't execute well enough. The PP/PK coaches didn't have creative strategies. There were many failures this series, but they could have taken their revenge this year.

We could also have been swept by Dallas, they have dominated the Kings all season.

I will say that I am pretty happy that the Kings played pretty well for the last 5 periods. This one, not so much so far.

Either the Oilers are doing a good job containing the Kings in both the neutral zone and O-zone or the Kings are not showing enough urgency in this period. I wouldn't be wrong if it's both but it's looking more like the latter. The Kings look like they're being resigned to their fate.

Two of those games were road back to backs at the end of road trips after playing 1,000 miles away the night before. Kings probably would have lost, but at least it would have been against a different team.

I choose to think of it this way... we are the means by which the OIL and their fans expectations are raised unreasonably only to have them dashed by being eliminated by a more worthy opponent than our Kings.. You have to find your solace where it is available.
