I think Kings are lucky to be tied. Oil could have gotten another pp goal and they had possession most of that period. We'll see if refs put their whistles away in the third. I doubt it.

1.byfield sux...either sux or a prodject-does not belong on playoff ice..
2. Kopitar needs to do something..
3. Blake added nothing to this team so enjoy the playoffs
Iaffalo call was borderline. The Byfield play gets called 80-90% of the time in the NHL. As soon as the ref sees the free hand on the chest of the other player, the ref's hand goes up. It's like a reflex.
Play a new tune, this one is tired. You clearly don't get that he's there to learn as mush as possible for the future.
I respectfully disagree.
The Stanley Cup Playoffs are not where players learn how to play.

Yes it is. Where do you want him to learn? In practice?

For a team that has absolutely no chance at a Cup? Yes, it is where young players learn how to play - in the playoffs. EVERYTHING they do this season is about hte future. Besides, even if that wasn't the case, who else do the Kings have who would be a step up? It's not like they have solid vets waiting in the wings.I respectfully disagree.

It's game 1. Short term pain, long term gain.
