Funny you should mention that....I actually still have my pair of purple undies from 9 years ago - just took them out of my drawer the other day - but....they are too stretched out to wear. HOWEVER, I do have on "Forum Gold" undies today, so hopefully that does the trick!!

(and, no....I still didn't throw away the purple ones!!!)

I’m really pumped up for tonight & for this series. Everyone thinks the Oilers are going to coast to the finals & maybe the Cup. It would be so great to knock them out in the 1st round.

Congratulations to VegasHockey for claiming the King of the Mountain title for 2023 and to runner-up srm1105 for another outstanding season. Nyssa gave us a generous number of point opportunities to try to catch up during the last few games, but VegasHockey was just too tough to bring down.

Congratulations also to Rusty, AngelEyes, DRice, Kurisu, sonnyboy11 and all the others who had fun participating.

Last but certainly not least, thanks so much to Nyssa and Jammer for the contest and these Game Day Threads. You add a lot of joy to following the Kings. Just about all of the Kings info/news I read comes from this website. I don't have time to search elsewhere. The experience is even more wonderful when we make the playoffs. We appreciate all you do!

Man, I've grown to hate this team!

Yeah McD's the best offensive player on earth.. But
I hate all the o-zone interference they get away with esp on the PP.
I hate Kane's borderline bs
I really hate Drai's tendency to whine about every frickin play/call...when he instigates some really chippy play...pot...kettle

C'mon Kings let's get one of these first two (Korpi w/ a theft?)..and watch the Oil begin to wilt and start to unravel under the expectations that they're unstoppable.

I will not be able to follow along tonight as I stupidly assumed the playoffs would start on Sunday or Tuesday and scheduled myself to teach a class on Monday nights this month. So....

How the H E double hockey sticks does the game have a start time of 10 pm Eastern if the Bruins/Panthers game didn't start until after 7:30 pm Eastern? Both on ESPN.

Kings will have to play a near mistake-free game to win tonight. All the pressure is on LA because the margin for error is razor thin. Do we know who's starting in goal yet?
