Smith being Smith.
Made his life way too easy tonight.
Coach doesn?t look too pleased about another negative contribution from #55 .
I love the guy, but Brown is a liability. Thought he may be able to reach during the playoffs but physically it?s not there anymore.
All the humiliation and crowd hostility is experience.
Also I hate seeing McDavid smile.
When I was playing Little League baseball and Pop Warner football in the mid-sixties, we had something called 'film' and we'd review it after each game.
I wonder if the Kings have the same technology?
If so, I hope their coach takes a close look at the current line-up, especially AA & QB.
Both were out of their leagues tonight.
I don't get La Bamba? Richie Valens was not Canadian.
Brown has been invisible, but -Byfield- has been a liability. In both games, actually. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this kid is never going to amount to much in the NHL. Sorry, I just don’t see it.
I'm getting the impression Byfield is a playmaker, not a gammebreaker--he needs good players on his line to generate anything...much like Kopi. He's 19, he's dealt with a major injury. He has 11 points in his first 46 games. There's another guy in the NHL I'm thinking of who was a high first rounder. Big guy, 6'4" 220 (Byfield is listed at 6'5" 220). He had 7 points in his first 55 games as an 18 year old. Played a full 81 season as a 19 year old with no injuries and had a better season, less than half a point per game, but still OK. Kind of considered a bust at that time though. I don't know how Byfield is gonna end up, but that guy is about to retire with more than 1,500 career points. I don't know that Byfield will score that many points, but not sure I'm willing to cut bait on him yet.
