There was a reason back in the good old days of the NHL skill players had personal body guards (did you know Gretzky refused the trade to the Kings unless McSorley went with him?).

Teams will continue to take advantage of our diminutive stature until we do something about it. Blake, of all people, should realize this.

I agree with this. Barely any players that can play a physical game for the Kings these days - Lemieux, Roy, Moore, Grundstrom, Edler, Mikey, Durzi?

I was hoping Brown could find it in the reserve tank but that isn't happening...
 
One of the biggest reasons Kings made the playoffs is because of their depth . So what does the Panda do, play the top two lines to death while the rest get 5 min of ice time. We dont have enough skill in Kopi and Danault to use them as much as Mcdavid and Draisaitl. The only way to win this is to roll 4 lines and Keep players fresh. Edmonton plays their 2 superstars so much because they are young and have 0 depth. Panda needs to mix some youth with the vets and play them regularly. It is so disappointing to see Brown play his last playoff games and not throw a ****ing check. We all know he wont sit but at least play Kupari who is big and fast. put him with Danault or Kopi to balance things out. Drop AA with Lizzotte. Kings don't need to be more physical, what they need to do is play with Pace and they cant do that with top 2 lines getting majority of minutes and the PP.
 
The Kings were never in Game 2, but they did what they needed to do and won one in Edmonton.
