Oil outplayed the Kings that period but not as badly as Kings outplayed the Oil in periods 1 and 2 last game.

McDavid was going to come out building off period 3. This was inevitable. Kings coverage on him was honestly as good as it could have been. They pressured him and he didn’t rattle off a bunch or dangerous passes.

Kings have to be better to win but that’s a decent response period to what happened in period 3.
