PLD and how I learned to quit worrying about the bomb

I don’t know for a fact that this is the report card Hiller uses for PLD, but I believe “remains intense” is on whatever form he does use.

Reminds me of some comments I got from the authorities on my schoolwork over a 1/2 century ago.
Halfwall has poor study habits.
Halfwall is indifferent to completing assigments on time.
Halfwall is not working to his full potential.
Halfwall has a negative attitude toward his teachers.
Halfwall is addicted to insolence.
etc.

"Addicted to Insolence" is a good band name

I try to watch as many Jets' games and highlights as possible, mainly to compare the trade. As much as I'd like to give PLD more time to show he belongs, it's pretty easy to see that Vilardi, Iafallo, and to a lesser extent, Kupari, are contributing more to a team's winning ways. I'm not yet ready to roast Blake's judgement, but part of his name is being replaced by a question mark.

Changed my mind again. He's OK. All is well. Move along. Nothing to see here.
On the other hand

Ehhh, not so sure about Iafallo and Kupari. A total of 7 goals between them. Kup has only played 23 games, one point. He's a non-factor in this trade. Ultimately, we will see how PLD is in year 2 and if it's more of the same, the trade is a bust purely based on how much we're paying him, not for what we gave up.

PLD is weak as f*** on the boards and on his stick. Being "big" is not enough in this league and he still hasn't learned this yet? Coaches haven't told him? Highly doughtful. Tenacious is not in his game and for this alone he's not worth the price tag from what I've seen.

It definitely shows

His mediocre play would not be tolerated by a third or fourth line player, let alone a potential "top line center".

Was watching the jets on youtube, they made a comment that they only wanted palyers that wanted to be there and that went a long way in resigning hellybuck and forgot who the other signing was, so yeah they didnt tolerate, will the kings?

Hard to disagree with any of that. Yeah, he's big, but soft as baby sh*t..
