Good for Bjornfot, even if it's god damn Vegas. He never got a fair shot here and was destined to be a healthy scratch for life.

Just an FYI, he played two games right after being claimed, did not do great. Has not played since.

They also have not attempted to send him down. Given he's played a total of 12 games this season, he needs to work on his timing and conditioning. Vegas knows this and plans to invest in him - unlike the Kings who set him up for failure this season.

Possible, but I thought that a team was not able to reassign a player claimed off waivers for 30 days. Also, I am not convinced that Vegas plans to invest much in him. Kind of like Fagemo on the Preds. Got a goal in his first game, I think. Then disappeared in the next few and was a scratch until waived. The Kings gave Toby as many chances as they could over the years. In preseason he was kind of outplayed by Moverare and Englund. With his experience with the team the 6th defensemen spot was his for the taking. He did not take it and was back burnered until the Clarke call up and then he was waived.

Vegas claimed Bjornfot because they have a ton of injuries. Not clear at all that they will invest in him yet. Speaking of, he is also on the injured list. Bad luck.
