***San Jose Sharks vs. LA Kings GDT 3/17 EARLY START 7:00pm on ESPN+ & Hulu ONLY***

So glad that Toronto management gave up on Durzi way too soon. This guy is a jewel!

I don't know if it's gave up so much as they needed the future now. In retrospect they paid a price for Muzzin that should have gotten them over the hump... But man they didn't. Simmonds and Schenn have turned into more production than Richard's gave us, but i'd still make that trade every day of the week.

Surprised it was Toby that sat, hoping it was a reset and not a clue to potential Monday deals.

At this point it's hard to guess what Rob will do over the weekend. But I wouldn't be surprised if acquiring a right shot forward was the result and not a left shot defenseman.

Apparently Blake was in on Jarnkrok but I’m personally relieved they didn’t get him. Sure he’d be a boost on the Quinton line but I’m more content watching the newly motivated Kupari and Vilardi get the ice time.

I would suggest you apply for the Kings development staff since there has never been a suggestion that his stick is too short holding him back. Get back to us with your stick suggestions

I can almost guarantee everyone on the Kings coaching staff and developmental crew can see it. Anyone that has played hockey can see it. They just won't address it during the season for good reason. That's what the offseason is for. And for the record, it's been addressed before. QB has said he got used to the shorter stick because he was mauling kids in juniors as a kid because he was so big. Watch him skate it's like the hunchback of Notre Dame. Completely unnatural. He's lunging forward and low because he can't get any length advantage with his stick unfortunately.

The forward I would hope to see would replace Iafallo on the top line with a right shot scorer.

All the way. Anything less would be a waste of assets IMO. Nowhere near the need for just a depth forward right now.

I don't have an opinion about his stick length, but I DO always say that Byfield skates like a baby giraffe...always about to fall forward. But, man, last night there was finally ONE shift in the 2nd where he REALLY showed his speed, skating back to make a defensive play. The arena went crazy, and he didn't even have the puck! Dang, was he fast!

oh, and, in case you were wondering....Brownie had a significantly large bandage on his right pinky last night during Quickie's ceremony. Drew didn't have any visible bandaging. At first I thought he was favoring his left hand, but then he was clapping normally at the end of the ceremony, so maybe whatever he's got going on will be resolved soon.

Here's the video of the whole ceremony.

Honestly a rental works well here, arty might be in line for that spot but if they can buy him that time I'd send it. Probably the one reason kings were in on jarnkrok. Aside from Kessel I'm not sure there's anyone left in the right hand shot. Giroux ain't waiving for us. Boeser and Forsberg are going to cost enough that they aren't rentals. I'm not convinced a team can't win with AI in a depth spot but they'd better be right on this one if they pull that trigger

If somehow the 2021 version of AI suddenly reappeared, all would be good. He just isn't the same player in 2022.

Frk is the only right shot "sniper" in the organization, but he isn't even a short term answer.

Funny how the Kings are so unbalanced. So many right shot defensemen, and so many left shot forwards...

Still, Boesser is an attractive thought.

The best moves this coming trade deadline for the Kings, is no move. They are not in the same class as Colorado and one or two players does not put them in that class. Just wait until the Summer, when teams are more willing to negotiate and compromise.
