***Seattle Kraken vs. LA Kings (AGAIN) GDT 3/28/22 7:30pm on BSW***

Hopefully, this humiliation will get the Kangs fired up for the next 2.

Is this the Kraken's biggest lead of all time?

6-1 is. Their previous biggest win was 5-1 (+4 differential) over Montreal. Now it is a double milestone game-- largest + goal differential for Seattle and Todd's 1000.

Wow. Coming back from Japan for the first time in 2 years and 7 months, I was on the fence about going to the game. Glad I didn’t. Ugh.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Dead on in the 2 game poll for both questions = 8 points

I'm coming for the lead!!

Seattle can go home and take their rain with them! On the plus side, the power play recently has been ok looking. I don't know why Kaliyev was "demoted" to the forth line instead of bringing him up to either play with Kopi or Danault. AI has gotta sit. It's in his head and maybe a game with help him. Kings need to bounce back-big games back to back.

What an abysmal performance tonight. We certainly picked the worst night to go to our first game of the season.

Total team effort here tonight at the Crypt. Goalie sucked, defense sucked, and offense sucked. They were embarrassingly bad, but hey, it was easy to get out of the parking garage since the arena was emptying out by mid-third.

We haven't been able to go to a game since Covid and I would have been upset if this had been the first one...

Congratulations to the following posters who correctly guessed within +/-2 minutes of 4:29 of the first to be the time of the first penalty :

East coast time is a blessing and a killer, made it to Artys goal and then woke up to the final. We saw it last year with the unbalanced schedule, beating teams back to back is really difficult in this league. Not surprised but will take the sentiment here that the Kraken were more interested in this result than the kings.

Edmonton is going to be VERY interesting... Isn't Pepe going to be back for Wednesday? Hey, if it's any comfort, the kings seem to bounce back on the road after big losses. This one really, really matters, as the odds of beating Calgary the next night on a back-to-back shrink considerably...

Did I miss what the results were of the two game question?

Let's hope we don't look back on this must win game should be not make the playoffs. The next 6 could very well solidify our playoff position or nail the coffin shut.

Gotta think Lizotte is displaying concussion-like symptoms after absorbing that huge hit. Best of luck to Lias taking over 4C tonight.

Hope Lizzo has a speedy return.

Lizotte's energy was sorely missed, although I'm not sure it would have made much difference in the result. I have to credit Seattle with a very solid game. They've played some good games against some good teams lately.
