Although I’ve been impressed with the young group of forwards and their progress the young defensemen and their presence, footwork and hockey sense has got me as equally excited. Who would have thought Spence and Durzi could play twenty minutes a game without being a bit of a liability. Not really missing the veterans and they are getting a huge amount of experience.

Couldn't agree more. Sitting (not comfortably) 2nd in standings, surrounded by injuries... but I think the opportunity for experience and tenacity of some of these young dudes is the highlight of the season.
