Watched the 3 hour BvS Ultimate Edition BD last night. Top marks. Definitely the true final product (although I noticed some theatrical cut stuff was cut here and there). However the WB packaging people need help: no 3D disk for the UE? Anywhere? The special features are all on the Theatrical BD, which otherwise should never be played.

I'm already more interested in seeing this movie than I was for the two Superman movies combined.

Finally saw BvS, I liked it but I want to know why was Jesse Eisenberg Lex Luther? His character reminded me of Heath Ledger's Joker and almost made the movie unwatchable. I would have preferred someone older or someone that could actually act. Also some of the movie score was rather weak. When Wonder Woman makes her grand entrance all they could compose was some weak guitar music?

Other then those two things it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

When did WonderWoman have a sword?

I know, I know. I'm the only one that sees the sword.

Back in 2011/New 52 reboot was the intro of the sword and shield. But Hippolyta tended to always use a sword when she was featured in earlier comics.

so, Like Rogue One, it seems as if studio interference is alive and well these days. I am not sure who is more to blame...the studios for hiring young, independant directors who have limited experience with 'the machine', or those directors for not realizing that they have to conform a bit when such large amounts of money are on the line. James Gunn made the transition marvelously...granted, he was a wee bit more experienced when he finally got his chance.
