Loved Aquaman. Fun times with amazing visuals and soundtrack (from RGW who did WW).

IMAX (and not lie-max) is a must. I've only seen it in 3D so not sure how 2D is. My best IMAX film of the year even if 92 mins is formatted for it (I did not catch MI Fallout in IMAX).

Gotta say, I did. Opening weekend. At the Chinese, digital Imax. It's beautiful. Finally, someone got Momoa.
 
I saw Aquaman last weekend and it was AWESOME. Just colorful and weird and fun. I saw it on a regular screen but I want to go back and see it in IMAX.

In my opinion, it's juuuuust below Wonder Woman as my pick for best DCEU film.

We saw it last night and I completely agree with you on all accounts! Just great and smart move to write a script specifically for Jason Mamoa. Outstanding effort.

It's not a bad choice. Hammer can be pretty good when he isn't stuck trying too hard to be a 'leading man'. Works good as Bruce Wayne as far as I am concerned. But it just feels a little safe. More of a lateral move from BatFleck. Past few weeks the rumor had Robert Pattinson being courted. I've never seen Twilight, but I have seen a few of Pattinson's other flicks and the kid is a good bordering on special actor. Would have brought a lot of credibility to DCEU. Truth be told, he probably didn't want to do something as mainstream as Batman.

EDIT:Apparently this was B.S.

It's kinda sad that they just cannot seem to find the path with Flash. Darker is not the way to go. Flash has THE BEST Rogue's Gallery as far as personality and COLOR. They need to take this in the exact opposite direction. You ground it with Flash's multiple dramas, pick one, hell...pick two. But if they could have him constantly being annoyed and distracted by Cap'n Cold, Gorilla Grodd, Boomerang...while he is trying to deal with loss and grief. It's not that hard. You have TONS of comics to pick from fro influence as well as multiple Flashes.
