I guess Pattinson could work. We shall see.

I am totally annoyed, however, that every time there is a controversial comic book casting people bring up the Heath Ledger casting as the Joker as a practical guarantee that controversial castings work out in the end.

Yeah, that worked out, but it had more to do with Heath Ledger's untapped abilities than the mere fact it was controversial.

For every Heath Ledger casting there is Topher Grace as Venom, Jesse Einsenberg as Luthor, Halle Berry as Catwoman. Lol. Need I need to say more?

The Hoff as Nick Fury. :P

Each casting is its own thing and we should focus on that and not based it on how previous castings worked or didn't work out.

Honestly, it's never been about the casting. The writing and direction needs to be better.

Agreed. And Matt Reeves has remained constant, since 2014. Regardless of the development twists, that is a very long time to refine a script. The guy managed to make an almost instant turnaround english remake of Let Me In, as good and worthy of seeing as the original.
If the writing is ever going to improve...

I agree Orph, but...Pattinson/Ledger are both young actors who started by trading on their looks. And both are playing, Iconic doesn't even seem to put it in perspective, characters. Who, have been defined by previous actors, so that measurable is there too. So...it is a valid comparison in this case. Trust me Orph...he is going to be very very good in the role. I am championing him in the face of all you naysayers(awwww...I miss him).

Or maybe those are Robin's bones schmones! :scared: mhihi:

I still have to watch the last episode of Doom Patrol, but the series generally grew on me. I was probably too critical of it at first because of how much I like Doom Patrol. I expected too much.

‘Swamp Thing’ Canceled By DC Universe After 1 Season

Bastiches! The lot of them!!! :pssst:

Then again, we have only seen one episode, which I thought was pretty good, but who knows what the rest of the season is like.

Still, DC fans lose again. Bah!

I enjoyed the first episode too. Sounds like an inflated budget but NC screwed them too? Move it to Georgi.....err........nevermind
