Ok, question about the movie. They show him with a beard and then later clean shaven....how the hell did he shave?

What kind of blade/shaver wouldn't be destroyed by the super stubble on his face?

Did he pull each hair out individually?
 
Joaquin Phoenix Offered Villain Role in ‘Batman vs. Superman’ [Updated] | /Film

Update: After this news broke, many people dismissed it because Phoenix has never exhibited a desire to do blockbuster films. That may have changed, however.

In a new profile by LA Weekly, Phoenix admits he’d do a blockbuster one day. “I love comedies and I love action movies,” he said. In particular, he called the new Star Trek films “****ing brilliant.” Here he elaborates:

As long as you’re not visibly shaking in front of a camera, anyone could give a great performance with the right script and the right director…..It’s even more difficult to stand with a half-made, fake-ass ****ing set with some weird ****ing wig and say a bunch of technical dialogue and not have the benefit of people going, ‘Well, this is important work so let’s give it its space.’ Everyone’s going, ‘C’mon, jerk-off! Let’s do this!’

While that’s not him saying, “Yes, I want to be in Batman vs. Superman,” it’s an acknowledgement he’s open to, and even interested in that kind of work.

You know what, I am looking forward to this movie, as a good guilty pleasure, there I said it.

I like Gal Gadot, yeah, she's not the best actress, but she's hot and a fellow Jew, haha.

& Joaquin Phoenix can work as Luthor. He needs to channel a bit of the character that he played in Gladiator.

Dunno. Could be fun. This is obviously not going to be great art, but then again, neither was The Avengers, and I had fun with that.

Thor is fun, the way Superman should be; his cape is a bright, hopeful red and you want to hang out with him. The Superman in Man of Steel is a guy you want to keep your distance from, more coldly alien than the Asgardian who just arrived here. They?re both immigrants to Earth, but even though the Man of Steel Superman was raised here, Thor feels more connected to humans in his movies, more their champion. More their Superman.

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Rumors: Lex Luthor not the Only Villain; Wonder Woman Has a “Cameo-Plus” Size Role | Collider

The film’s bad guys are Superman villains and Henry Cavill’s Man of Steel/Clark Kent is the main character. Of course, Batfleck will play a major role in the movie; but I suspect that one of the main reasons for Batman’s inclusion is to establish a new “DCU on Film Batman” and set up future solo Bat-flicks. Same goes for Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman – though I think her role is much smaller than BA’s Batman.
