Not a very complimentary look. The proof will be in the end result. I personally am encouraged that they are going anti-Marvel whenever they can. There seems to be more of an emphasis on filmaker driven ideas instead of the close interconnectivity of the Avengers universe. I think, in the DC world, Edgar Wright would still be making his movie. They hint at Snyder being the number one guy...I know that will meet with it's own criticism, but I am hopeful.

Gotta disagree. I like the idea, and you better get used to it because that rumor is all but verified at this point. Don't know if the article mentions it but Batfleck is currently in Toronto where SS is filming according to the reports I read.

I suppose I'll have to re-watch Man of Steel (though I'm inclined not to), but wouldn't this rumored storyline contradict the previous movie?

This would, at least, explain why they're going with old Batman. I'm still not sure THAT is a sound strategy, but it is interesting. I guess they can just keep a grizzled, veteran Batman post-Affleck assuming the "universe" goes that long. Hmmm.

The more I think about it, the more OK I am with it.

I'm not usually in agreement with JD's "lack of color" argument, but that is a WHOLE lot of black and grey...
