Here’s Your First Glimpse Of Chris Pine From The Set Of ‘Wonder Woman’
http://uproxx.com/movies/2015/11/first-glimpse-chris-pine-wonder-woman/

Co-star Sa?d Taghmaoui (yup, he’s in the movie too) shared a pic of himself and Pine from the set of the DC Comics cinematic offering on Facebook and Instagram. Taghmaoui yanked the image from his social media services shortly after posting, but that was no guarantee that the photo wouldn’t be saved forever on the dork web.

The bold highlight is the real news. Good character actor who you probably recognize from Three Kings.

‘Justice League Dark’ Eyeing Potential Cast and Directors
http://collider.com/justice-league-dark-movie-cast-directors/

According to JoBlo, WB was happy with del Toro’s script, and while he didn’t come on board because of issues over casting and scheduling, the studio is now looking at Big Bad Wolves duo Aharon Keshales & Navot Papushado and Evil Dead remake helmer Fede Alvarez as the frontrunners for the gig. These are the kind of directors who don’t have the cache to throw their weight around, but they do have acclaim and vision, and if they can strike a balance with the studio’s wishes, then everyone can come out a winner. It will be interesting to see how much freedom WB gives to the project’s director, and how much violence they’re expecting in the project. Producer Charles Roven previously stated that all of the studio’s comic book movies will be PG-13 (something I think is a limitation in some cases), so I doubt Justice League Dark will be as super-violent as Big Bad Wolves or Evil Dead.

When it comes to casting, JoBlo reiterates earlier reports from Heroic Hollywood and Latino Review stating that WB is looking at Colin Farrell for John Constantine, Ron Perlman for Swamp Thing, Ben Mendelsohn as Anton Arcane, Ewan McGregor for Jason Blood/The Demon, and Monica Bellucci for Madame Xanadu. They also want a comedic actor for Deadman and an unknown up-and-comer for the magician Zatanna. Bascially, they’re looking to keep costs manageable on the above-the-line talent and presumably there will be some cash left over for some visual effects weirdness. They’re also not betting the house on this one, and I doubt the budget for Justice League Dark will be anywhere close to what the studio ponies up for Justice League Part I and II.

Wait. Justice League "Dark?"

I mean, as it is, the DC universe movies only have one guy who smiles, and it's emo-psycho-killer Joker. And the pillar of hope and justice that was Superman was already brought to the authorities in chains, killed a guy in front of children, and is apparently being reviled for being too powerful to a point where a sad, brooding orphan man is out to "see if [the pillar] bleeds."

If that movie gets DC "Dark," then the movie is just gonna a crying Batman standing outside a locked closet door to a cupboard under the stairs. And the only thing you'll hear are the muffled sounds of an old man angrily jerking off inside and both guys occasionally whimpering "Mama."

What would have been George Millers Wonder Woman

Also is it just me or does Gal Gadot look like Jay Baruchel

Wow, forget Affleck and the hack behind the camera - Lex Luthor is so moronic and miscast that there is no coming back from that.

Lowered Expectations

After Man of Steel, I'm not expecting as much other than that it'd at least be an improvement upon that first outing. Is it me or does Doomsday look quite similar to the Abomination from Marvel's The Incredible Hulk...only not as good? I haven't bought into the hype and, despite some praise I've seen elsewhere, Batfleck has not impressed over Bale's Batman.
