Here’s What’s New in the ‘Suicide Squad’ Extended Cut
http://collider.com/suicide-squad-extended-cut-new-scenes/#killer-croc

Not at all! Watching the extended cut, all you see are a handful of deleted scenes that were polished up and inserted into the theatrical cut. They don’t change the shape of the movie or explain confusing aspects like “Why did Amanda Waller hide the fact that she was the one who needed rescuing in Midway City?” or “Why does Waller keep Enchantress’ heart in a highly secure briefcase but the statue containing Incubus is on a shelf next to the printer paper?” This isn’t like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition where the changes may not make the movie better, but you at least they help the plot make sense.

If you’re looking for a cut of Suicide Squad that fixes the movie, it doesn’t exist.

"Batman v Superman" has been on HBO for a couple of weeks. Haven't actually sat down to watch the whole thing, but have caught bits and pieces here and there.

Oof! Jesse Eisenberg, man! Though I am pretty sure he's been the only character I've seen smile in any way, shape, or form.

Jeremy Irons, on the other hand, seems like a bad-ass Alfred.

I actually sat down and watched it for the first time last night. It wasn't awful, but it was not great. Jesse Eisenberg was beyond annoying as Lex Luthor and I agree with you on Jeremy Irons. He really is a super badass Alfred.

I was surprised by how much I liked Ben Affleck as Batman. The movie was entertaining, but the pacing was weird. I'm sure the extended edition fixed a lot of the film's awkward parts. I probably wouldn't watch it again, but it did make me very excited for Wonder Woman and Justice League.

I have been lamenting the fact that I don't have HBO lately because I have been wanting to watch Westworld. *sigh* On the bright side, you JUST KNOW that since Superman V Batman premiered on said cable channel, there would be no way that I would be able to resist not watching that movie again (and possibly again and again), well, because I am a masochist. Ugh!

Haha. Even though I pretty much disliked the movie (well, except for the Wonder Woman action sequences, because of course I enjoyed those), I have to admit that when the Big Three finally came out on the screen together, I got CHILLS, and that bone that this poor DC Comics fan finally got thrown after years of wanting these three characters in a movie together made all that shenanigans worth suffering through. A masochist and desperate. What a sorry combination.

After yelling at Directv yesterday after they sent me an e-mail regarding a $6/month increase starting 1/22/17 due to "higher programming costs", they gave me HBO free for 3 months. better be some movies premiering I haven't seen in the next 3 months

I was kinda hoping for Black Manta. But they will NEVER get that look right.
Just not sure they could translate that helmet to the screen. People would freak out about it IMHO. It would be awesome though and a natural adversary of Aquaman.

How DC's 'Gotham City Sirens' Could Address a Lingering 'Suicide Squad' Criticism

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/he...ss-a-lingering-suicide-squad-criticism-955910

Why is the criticism lingering? Suicide Squad was rather bad, end of story. Some people should just let it go. Of course, I won't let go my disappointment of BatmanVSuperman, but when I fixate on things, it's cute. mhihi: ;)

Anyhooow, I thought that Gotham City Sirens as name for a comic book series sounds silly and it sounds sillier for a movie. Like an AHL team in Gotham.

I like Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, BUT I like Catwoman almost as much as I like Wonder Woman and in my opinion we haven't gotten a good Catwoman since Michelle Pfeiffer. I want a well done Catwoman!! :pssst:

I liked Anne Hathaway in the last Batman movie, but it was kind of a stretch to call her Catwoman.

So, for me, the mark is still Julie Newmar.

'Gotham City Sirens': The Choice for Catwoman Is Obvious

I am not against Anne Hathaway being cast as Catwoman per se, but I want her be to characterized different than she was in The Dark Knight Rises. Honestly, at this point, I want a movie version that's closer to Ed Brubaker's version of the character. Brubaker's comic book stories pretty much, in my opinion, gave both Captain America and Catwoman a shot in the arm. That Winter Soldier movie wouldn't exist had he not come along.
