Always good to see Black Manta getting work.

Ok. Gotta be fair, rewatching Batman VS Superman:the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and, just like the Marvel flicks, it is flawed, and them flaws multiply with repeat viewings. Ooof Eisenberg is tone deaf. What a pig **** there. Could've gone with cold, precise master manipulator version, and you'd have comparisons to draw to current political situations. But...whatever. I still think that the heavier tone, and the general vibe is > Marvel simply because, good or bad...it's more memorable. Anyone wanna give me a book report on Cap'n Avengers Civil War, who HASN'T seen it since it came out. Forgot it already? Ant man? Dr. Strange?

Don't get me started on that movie.

I sat down and watched it a couple of months ago on HBO and it bugged the hell outta me. I had to take notes because I knew it would be entertaining for friends.

Marvel movies, whatever their flaws, are at least enjoyable in that they keep forward momentum without too many jarring moments, and they're relatively pleasant. Flipping through channels, I'd stop on "Ant-Man" every time. I'd gladly watch "Dr. Strange" again.

The DC's stuff only memorable for how badly the material is put together and how that gets magnified with each new endeavor. Hopefully "Wonder Woman" will break that trend.

It's not rocket science.

1. Fire the screenwriter
2. Hire a new writer
3. Have the new writer write two blank checks and mail them to Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan
4. Profit
