Just keep driving up that price when I sell the Miami game next year....

I bit the bullet and am going tonight too. We have LAFC this weekend. What's the lineup gonna look like tonight

TBH, at this point in the season, I don't really care about potential roster rotation ahead of El Trafico.

Cross town derby is meaningless when the G's are this bad.

That being said, my guess is Reus would be a sub.
I bet Sanabria starts....why?....I dunno he's an enigma in this system.
Zanka probably starts.
Parente probably starts.

Poor Cuevas, once again get thrown the crumbs from the table.

That was ugly.

Paintstill - how many times can you just give the ball away?
Zanka - so who's replacing him next year?
Aude looked pretty dazed when he came off. Hope he's okay.
Sanabria - looked like he went lights out for a couple seconds.
Pec - precision was off. Couple of those post/crossbar hits could easily have been goals.

PK seemed like a pity call from the ref.

Slow, slow build up in any attack. Silence in the stadium until some corner folk tried getting a chant or two started. Even Kozmo was in dead mode (think I only saw him once). Did get out of the parking lot within 10 minutes though..

Nervous how bad game against LAFC may get.

WOOF!
The Galaxy go back to being garbage.

I'm calling it now: MLS season is over for the G's.

Zanka should not touch the pitch again. How Kuntz wanted this guy is a mystery. Everyone in Belgium knew/stated he was a flop/bust....yet Kuntz signs him for 2 years?!?!?! G's are stuck with him for another year!

Paintsil is so far off the mark right now, as is Pec.

Tell me if I'm losing my mind or not:
When Nascimento was on the pitch, The two P's rarely would pass to him or send a cross into the box.
When Ramirez was subbed on, multiple passes and crosses into him. What gives?!?!?
Other players pass to Nasci, put rarely the two P's. It's like the G's are playing with 10 on the pitch.

...and wow was it REALLY quiet on the broadcast. You could almost hear a pin drop.
It was quiet when I was there for Saturday's match.....the weekday match, well we are back to the boycott days/feel.

...and all AEG had to do was support their supporters in the simplest vanilla way, but nope!
AEG loves their money, loves to "pander" to latinos, but will quickly turn their backs on them when convenient. Soulless.

Not losing your mind on Nascimento. I could tell too. Maybe the P's know something we don't...

I wanted Ramirez to come in earlier as we needed a spark he could bring.

Agree on Zanka. One of the loudest crowd moments was the collective groan when they announced his name in the lineup :)

The season was over awhile ago. It's all about getting ready for next year and getting Puig back. (and hopefully keeping Pec)

Not worried about Pec. He's staying.
He's in poor form right now, and the G's would lose money on him.

I'm more concerned about the G's "dead weight": (IMHO)
Zanka, Sanabria, Fagundez, Yoshida, Berry, Ramirez, McCarthy, Wynder, Marcinkowski, Scott.

...then the G's also have too young, too inexperienced, and not being played players:
Cuevas, Miller, Parente, Lepley, Ramos Jr, Vivi.

This roster is built very poorly.

Assuming Puig comes back as good as before, and assuming the G's are playing Vanney Ball......here are the players I would keep for next season....and throw out the rest (if only we could):

Keep: Puig, Painstil, Pec, Reus, Cerrillo, Yamane, Micovic, Aude, Cuevas, Garces

If Puig is a bust.....well then I really don't know how to put together a roster for next season that works for Vanney Ball. Vanny Ball with MLS "quality" players is difficult, if not impossible.

Want proof? See this season's record, and see nearly all of Vanney's season records thru-out his career save a couple of championships.

Wow wow wow wow

Yoshida may not be so fast but he’ll go headfirst into hell for the team.

Nice classy lafc fans pelting the refs with beer on the walk out.

HOW S*** MUST YOU BE, YOU CAN’T EVEN BEAT US

Chivas fans are gonna Chivas.

Meanwhile, could you imagine if Cuevas got even more playing time?!?!

Dude come on, “causes” Chivas to get a red card, then whips in a perfect cross to Yoshida for the stoppage time equalizer.

…but hey Greg, keep the kid on the bench, right?

Seems to me when Ramirez is subbed on the G’s play with more urgency. Why not play this way earlier in the match with Nasci, instead of the typical lateral, slow passing back and forth in the final third, ultimately ending up with a back pass, and then the eventual poor pass leading to a turnover.

Oh, and 3 goals in quick transition….you would think this would be Galaxy defense strategy rule #1 when playing el Trafico: Always be ready for quick transition.

Nope…..3 times the G’s looked like chumps.

Anyway I am very happy G’s stealing the point on the road!

Most of the G’s issues are self inflicted.
One would think coaching could remedy this………

The reigning MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy will host Campeon de Campeones winners Deportivo Toluca in the 2025 Michelob ULTRA Campeones Cup on Wednesday, Oct. 1 (7:30 p.m. PT) at Dignity Health Sports Park.

Riqui back for this one?

Just got my renewal notice for the G's next year...my tickets going up $2 per ticket per game. Not the most insane amount of money but man after a year like this you'd think they'd freeze or lower prices.

My take: Unless you go to every match, I don't see the value at all in season seats for the Galaxy.
They have tried to persuade me for years, and they have never given me a good argument for me to take the plunge and give them all that guaranteed $$$.

They give season seat holders crumbs from the table in terms of "extras, giveaways and special events".
I've never felt the Galaxy value their season ticket holders.

Meanwhile for an "often, not every" match attendee like myself, the secondary market is king....especially if you know how to play it.

Recently I attended the DC United match for $18 a ticket (including fees) section 101 behind the goal...about midway down....and to be honest, those were very easy to come by. I've seen even better deals midweek matches, but there is no way I'm driving to the Digs on a Wednesday night.

I know for many they feel connected to the club as a season seat holder. I get it.
To me however, I feel this club (especially this year) treats the fans, supporters, and season ticket holders as only commodities. The club does not value them much outside of their $$$$.

It's sad in light of the glorious championship season the G's had last year, and coming off the boycott and finally getting rid of Klein and Co............now it seems the FO has lost the plot..........how did that happen so fast?

Part of the value of coming back to season tickets this year was guaranteed playoff priority/prices. After I tried getting Western final or MLS Cup tickets on the secondary market last year which was a trainwreck with prices. The hope was to be able to sell games I can't make it to on the secondary market to make some of if not most of the money back (not in it to make money). Much harder this year when they have been an awful team. I have a very easy time selling my Kings tickets though if I can't make games.

I also made the mistake of trying driving to a Wednesday night game a week or two ago and will never do that again unless it's a massive game

I asked about the small increase given the team's struggles this season and have not yet heard back :)
