Increasing intensity........THAT is a manager problem, not a player/quality issue.
The manager is FAILING. It's the GM's job to realize that the manager is failing the players.
Every player is regressing under Vanney. EVERY player has gotten worse since the '24 championship "outlier" season for Vanney.
Just like in Toronto, and the same with the G's. Vanney has an outlier season (due to a massive quality roster).....after that it's "regression to the mean".
Where the G's have been with Vanney before '24 and after '24 is who he really is.
How Kuntz can't figure this out is mind-numbing......and Kuntz didn't hire him!
If AEG is telling Kuntz to keep him (due to Kuntz signing him to the most expensive manager contract in the league) then this club is truly a trainwreck.
Oh for sure, you know who their striker is, right?
Dude was garbage under Vanney, and yet is the #1 striker for Bruce.
...but yea, tell me again, AEG, how this is not a manager problem.

Sidebar.....come on Greg, there may be some logic to your travel and games reasoning, but stop relying on it as excuses. It's gonna be travel today, injuries tomorrow, etc. and so on. Keep the bar high for your players.
Reasons.....have a tendency to turn into excuses. Your roster is listening.

Vanney makes subs. Takes off players that are impactful. Replaces them and changes formation to a five man back.
Just minutes after the subs come on the opponent ties the match. One of the new subs does a lazy play that cause the goal ( I. This case a foul for a free kick).
Then later the G’s have a chance to get a go ahead goal, but the player subbed on botches the scoring attempt. (Wynder for Sanabria)
Imagine this match if Muller was playing.
G’s have a 1 goal lead in the 2nd half.

I mean will Troy actually play or just be another body on the bench?

Honestly the past few wins/draws were smash n grab…..no real form whatsoever.
So the G’s play the worst team in the league. A Historically bad team. The result 3-1. G’s were down 3-0 for nearly all of it.
SKC has two wins…both against the G’s. Home and away.
Defense is laughable on counters.
SKC carved up the G’s like they were world beaters.
G’s offensive is typical disjointed mess.
I do know Vanney will explain it all away because he is big brain, and the rest of us are know nothings.
Embarrassing all around.
