The All Things MLS, NWSL, USMNT/USWNT et al Thread

So, let me tell you a story you will not believe:

Coach who won the MLS Cup last season, the reigning champs, steps down while his team is in 3rd.
Last season, the coach who won the MLS Cup the year prior had his contract extended while his team was 15th....all while in the midst of a 16 game winless streak (a historic record).......and the coach is still employed by said team, and with a current record of 2 wins, 3 losses, 2 draws.

so weird. I know they've had some draws and exited tourney but seems like there's something else going on behind the scenes.

G's have sunk to a new low.

NOTHING was working last night.
ONE shot on goal in a must win match.
ZERO cohesion on the field.
Defensive lapses everywhere.
Individual panic/hero ball galore.

An absolute mess.

V block with the "Vanney Out" chants was the icing on the cake.

In the past two seasons every player has become worse under Vanney.

If Kuntz won't pull the plug on Vanney, then I'm on the Kuntz out train as well.
This FO is nearing disaster levels of mismanagement.

It's time to send the manager packing.
It may be time to sell some players for a #10.

The players that are still on the roster from last season are not going to want to do this again for another season. They will soon throw in the towel. They need a new direction now or this season is lost.

A chorus of Oles from the Toluca fans in the last 20 minutes was followed by more remonstrating from the home crowd at full-time. The home support met the Galaxy with fervent shouts of “We want better” for the second straight game, intermixed with calls of “Vanney out.”

"Look, nobody, nobody ever likes to hear that. I mean, it's not what we do it for," Vanney said in response to the chants about his future.
"But I think what it did to this group is it galvanizes the locker room a little bit more. It's like, okay, we've got to, it's us. We got to answer the bell here, and we've got to respond."

Greg, stop. Please.
Your response is to try to either rope the players into YOUR problem (poor management) or you are putting it on the players like it's their problem.

The reality is it's YOUR problem alone.
For two seasons now it's been abysmal.
Look in the mirror.
