Super Star
ain't that fresh...
then we fill that vacuum
ain't that fresh...
Wait a minute.
Other than the fact that RDJ is going to have a bigger role in Cap 3 than previously thought, apparently, where is all this talk about Civil War coming from? I haven't had time to read many of the articles making that statement, but all the many headlines I've seen just say "could". Do we have any reason to believe this might happen, or did someone make a guess based on a small amount of evidence and then everyone ran with it?
If I remember my Daredevil: Man Without Fear correctly, the black outfit is what he wore before he put on the red stuff. Hopefully, that's the same here.
Doctor Strange Movie Short List Includes Jake Gyllenhaal and Matthew McConaughey?
I think I am the only one who isn't on this evergrowing 'short list'.
Most of it is speculation, but I recall the 2 directors of the last Capn flick kinda being cagey about it in an interview I will see if I can find. It makes all the sense in the world though. Fairly persistent rumors that Hulk may be sent off into space at end of A2 and the other ones about some of the big stars given a movie off for A3 whilst Cap recruits some new members...the rift between Iron Man and Cap would fit into all this strife. Add in that it looks like they are recajiggering Ultron's origin to put the blame at Stark's feet and you have the basis for a whole lot of bickering/turmoil/drama. That being said, I don't think it will be a slavish recreation of Civil War, just the impetus for all the bad blood and team splitting.
I think the first suit was yellow and black?

This is not only plausible, but it sounds like a good idea, to an extent. As long as:
-Like you say, it's not slavish
-It doesn't push back Infinity Gauntlet.![]()
You'll get yer Infinity Gauntlet kid...
Of course, the biggest factor in creating a Spider-Gwen movie hasn’t much to do with the character at all (sorry, comic fans). Actress Emma Stone is the real golden goose here. With Gwen already established in their Spider-Man universe, Sony must see their chance at a female-led franchise with a super-star actress already built in. This could be their Hunger Games, but with bigger box office returns. A mainstream moviegoer would be far more tempted to see a female superhero film with Emma Stone in a familiar role than an unfamiliar character, like Jessica Drew or Black Cat.
