The Avengers/Marvel movies



EDIT: No offense to those of you who are excited for this...but it just looks kinda boring and same-y. Team has witty banter, drama ensues and they manage to endure and pull together in the face of a giant showdown with a ton of cgi. Lather. Rinse. Repeat. YAWN.

Captain Marvel Won’t Appear in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2

- Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will shoot in Atlanta. The first film shot in England. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be the third Marvel movie to film in Atlanta following Ant-Man and Captain America: Civil War. Marvel has been switching between Pinewood in London and Pinewood in Atlanta, so based on the trade-off schedule I assume Doctor Strange will be filming in London.

– Because the movie is filming in Atlanta, there will be major crew changes.

– Nebula (Karen Gillen), Yondu (Michael Rooker), and Kraglin (Sean Gunn) will return.

– He has no interest in directing Avengers: Infinity War.

– He’s producing an unnamed film he wrote, and they just hired a director.

– Gunn would love to do a Squirrel Girl movie.

– If he could do any comic book movie outside of Marvel, it would be Grant Morrison‘s We3, which is about a genetically modified dog, cat, and rabbit who are trained by the government to be killing machines.

– Has a big movie he wants to do outside of Marvel, but it might take a while.

Looks better than I expected. Boardwalk Empire dude has no trace of an accent and carries himself the right way. I was worried about that. D'onofrio is ALWAYS good. A little too much BaleBats voice going on, hopefully people don't talk like that through the whole thing. SCOTT GLENN is teh AWESOMES...and P'NUB!!!!!!!!!!! Strange thing...it doesn't look like they are in a rush to get him in the DD and horns. Prob'ly be the splash at the end of the set.
 
Luke Cage Will Have Power When He Appears In AKA Jessica Jones

Marvel actually gives you a special training class in how not to say too much in interviews [laughs]. We’re in the middle of shooting AKA Jessica Jones and Luke Cage is a very interesting character who just happens to have super strength and unbreakable skin. He’s a neighbourhood hero, very much linked to New York and Jessica Jones. It’s all part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe but Luke Cage is a darker, grittier, more tangible character than Iron Man or Thor. He likes to keep things close to his chest, operate on the hush-hush. He has these abilities but he’s not sure how and when to use them. He’s a very nuanced character.

I'm actually very pleasantly surprised by this since they normally put Black Widow in this pose. How 'bout one with Captain America to even everything out, eh??
