The Avengers/Marvel movies

I think mmmcammy just doesn't like anything relating to spiders. :P

Honestly, if it wasn't for the whole lets not run out of time and let the Spidey license lapse, they could sit on the Spider-man property and figure how best to approach the character next instead of rushing movies out.

Then again, haha, Warners isn't going to lose any DC licenses since they own them and that's not stopping them from rushing out movies that will undoubtedly make me cry.

As long as the Black Panther movie is good, I won't complain about comic book movies for a while (not too much, anyways). ;)

Regardless of the spoiler bait, the 2 stingers...one mid credits and one post, are both supposed to be doozies. And I am actually encouraged by the reviews, maybe I will check it out after all.

It's not just the lapsed rights issue...it's a fundamental studio issue that they think relaunching and telling the same well worn origin story is what people need to see. Even the most casual moviegoer is likely to know Spidey's backstory by now. If you did want to retell it, you really need to find some new way to do it instead of just re-casting and hoping that brings people in. Who is even mildly curious about Spidey at this point? Arguably 3 bad movies in starting with Raimi's last go...I think people are likely to stay away again no matter how good it might be. If you need to tell the origin story, do it in a flashback or a montage...hell, go all comic book and have an open where it's narrated in short form heading into the credits. Or even tell the story from another character's p.o.v. TRY SOMETHING. If you make a great movie people will come. Everyone is trying to start a franchise instead of a single movie. It's all so stoopid.

Could Secret Warriors Spin Out Of Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD?

Season three of “SHIELD” will introduce new friends and foes based on the “Secret Warriors” comic series when it premieres on Sept. 29. In the aftermath of SHIELD’s battle with Jiaying and the Inhumans, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) will search the world for more powered people and assemble an extraordinary new team to deal with threats unlike the world has ever seen. However, the Agents of SHIELD will soon find out they’re not the only ones tracking down these new Inhumans.

Keep hearing how Pena steals the movie. Dude has been nails for years, drama, comedy, tv, movies...I knew the first time I saw him on the Shield he was special.

'Doctor Strange' confirmed to be side-stepping that thorny Tibet problem

But Tibet is such an important part of the character's history. Sigh. :( Oh, well.

I am thinking about going to Tibet during my next existentialist crisis to find myself. Knowing my life, such crisis will probably take place in a few days since I have at least a couple each week, lol. And you all better hope I don't come across any old mystics to teach me magic, well, 'cause I won't be using it for good. evil:
