The Black Widow character has been better handled in the three movies that were made by other directors, so this is a blessing in disguise.

Agreed. She was fine in the first Avengers movie, but Joss Whedon butchered her character in Age of Ultron. The Russo Brothers did Natasha way more justice.

Disney announced on Friday that it would be changing its release schedule slightly. Instead of having the second Avengers movie directed by the Russo brothers, Infinity War - Part 2, be a continuation of the first Infinity War film, it will act as a stand-alone project instead.

Yeah, I still think it's status quo...maybe they have some idea in mind for a stunning title/slant for the second one. I just think Avengers Infinity War 1 & 2 was unwieldy and implied cliffhanger. And we know from the Walking Dead kerfuffle that folks simply can't have things end with any questions.
