The Avengers/Marvel movies

I dunno about youse guys...but I am having a hard time NOT watching that.

WHO knew, that a comic book movie, that does not try to be anything else...could be so good.
No dark, gritty realism here...

This is from Anson Mount's facebook page. I am TRULY hoping that this is production art. I NEED this show to be good. The Inhumans were a true fave of mine as a child, and Black Bolt in particular. I need to see Lockjaw before I sign off completely.

That little flick "Logan", with its giant R-rated Opening Weekend... it's pretty good. Really awesome good. Easily the best Fox comic book movie and maybe the best Marvel movie too.

No spoilers in this post, but plenty of spoilers in the linked articles, so be forewarned! The links are very spoilery.

In this first article at slashfilm, director James Mangold talks about one of the main backstory elements that reveals itself gradually and incompletely in Logan and how that choice was made. It was a very good choice.

This second link to slashfilm is just a shortcut to a different, longer interview with Mangold that is also mentioned in the above link.

I like the way Mangold talks us through his process, in a rough sense, in the interviews.
