Well hell. I just realized, MARVEL has gone next level. It's like event series promotions, where all the other titles are slapped with a 'TIE-IN" logo and considered to be mandatory for continuity. UGH.

They need to bring back the corner tie-in logo.

So Marvel, um, when are we getting a Sleepwalker movie? mhihi:

Friggin A man!

Jayzus I miss the price box in the corner, especially the team books where they had floating heads.

I forgot about those floating heads, lol. Get outta my memories!!! :pssst:

Haha.

Poor Kitty Pride being trapped.

Plus a pentagram next to her?

Yep, I am spending my 75 cent allowance on that issue. :hockey2:

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Fun time!

Another lighter, self-contained palette cleanser from the epicness of Infinity War.

Seemingly everyone gets something decent to do, though I was expecting a little more Michelle Pfeifer. Actually, ya get a little extra Michelle Pfeifer in a weird way, but that's a topic for later discussion.

So, yeah. Another solid, perfectly in-form Marvel flick. They're all of a certain quality, and have a certain quality. It's practically rote at this point, with semi-regular blips upward.

Fluff.

Well made in a sterile factory way...

but Fluff nonetheless.

Like the first, low stakes heist movie. Pena does a LOT of heavy lifting. The villains were low stakes too. One of Marvel's more plug'n'play flicks...but it never really tried to be anything else. The Michael Douglas stuff was decent...probably the best of it.

Side Note...I was told 3d enhances. So yeah...I can actually say that it worked pretty well. Worth the extra cash.

Now that Marvel has Spidey back, I want the next installment to be Aunt MAY and The Wasp. Yeah, I totally want to see that.
