I haven't read this book, but the guys at my comic shop were telling me about it last week.

It sounds awesome. Mark Waid is a very good writer.

The constant art changes make it a difficult read at times but in general.... it's super honked up in a really good way.

Altho... I could use less time with the Plutonians team mates in some of the middle teen issues....

But I don't read comic books anymore.

Hey JD! I just read the Jack and Fables crossover trade. I know we discussed her before but Rose Red is still a disgusting whore and needs to eat ****.

When Blue comes back (and he's gonna come back) they better not get together. I hope she inadvertently dies before then. :D

I understand your p.o.v. Let's face it, she is damaged goods. But I find sympathy in her troubled past and I am proud that she got her head out of her ass and, when it was needed most, she reedeemed herself. YES redeemed. When Colin turned into her Mother, and she knew it wasn't really her mother, yet she had that 'moment of clarity' where she understood her sins and i.m.o. did penance, I pardoned her for her ****ty behaviour. As a lapsed Catholic maybe I have a soft spot for 'wounded birds', but your inflexible/unforgiving attitude is troubling. So, even the worst failure as a human being cannot ever redeem themself? Once a gameplaying whore always a gameplaying whore. Harsh world view to have. Yet you admire Cinderella, who has a lot of the same character arc, without the self loathing and regret. She delights in manipulating men. No apologies. Hurm.
 
NBC Dumps ‘Wonder Woman’

The script was derided; the costume was scorned; and test audiences frowned at the rough-cut pilot. Now NBC has taken the same line as seemingly everyone else who has had a gander at David E. Kelley‘s new television Wonder Woman. The network passed on the pilot, and so the show won’t go to series.

Anybody else think that after Avengers comes out, WB is going to kicking themselves for not letting Whedon do a WW movie?

It's really hard to make a Wonder Woman anything, and it's a shame, because I like the character, but she is always mishandled.

I dunno if Whedon would had been able to do it. Maybe. I would rather have no WW film than a bad one.
