I am not really holding my breath over the possibility that the Avengers movie with have strong females characters as this. Yes I know Black Widow and Maria Hill are in it. I said STRONG female characters, not two pairs of boobs for fanboys to jerk off to after they come home from the AMC.

Maria Hill is badass. I can't say for sure that her badass-ness will be transferred, but surely Joss Whedon's track record in that department should earn him the benefit of the doubt?

As much as I like Scarlett, I'm still kind of disappointed that she's Black Widow.

If that movie was just Captain America and Iron Man, I'd totally be on board.

DC Women Kicking Ass - Morrison on Batman: Announces 12 part series, wishes Dick and Damian had stayed together

Grant Morrison said at the DC panel focused on him that he will be doing a 12 part Batman Inc. story starting in January. Batman:Leviathan “is about Bruce and Damian though, and you will cry and cry and cry.”

When asked about Dick moving back to Nightwing and not being paired with Damian, he said: “It’s happening and we’re making it work. I always thought they should let that go for 5 or 6 years, cause there’s something about the pairing that just works so well.”

Cameron Stewart will be doing art on the series along with Chris Burnham. Burnham will be doing the bulk of the series. That may explain the Catwoman artwork that Stewart was showing earlier this summer.

I seem to remember that Cobie Smulders is going to be Maria Hill. I have only seen her do comedy so I don't if she can be badass but I have always liked her.
