Carrie Kelley To Be The New Robin On The Gatefold Cover Of Batman And Robin #19 - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

Odd choice. Between this and some of the "mutants" showing up in the latest issue of Batman Inc. it seems like they're trying to lead toward The Dark Knight Returns. I have no ****in' clue why, though.

Yea... it's pretty obvious. Comic book fans, like most groups, are dominated by dummies who trend towards the familiar.

I still say I don't think the Flash translates to live action film in 2013.

I actually agree with you. It just seems rather silly. although, when you really get down to it, the majors at DC all are tricky. Aquaman...ooof. Just read something that Superman is kind of the open sandbox that DC is going to concentrate on as far as launching franchises. They seem to feel like Nolans trilogy is a stand alone, so I fully expect Batman to get a more traditional reboot. As a matter of fact, the article I read...

MAN OF STEEL to Open Door for Other DC Characters; Nolan NOT Producing JUSTICE LEAGUE | Collider

Hints at an upcoming announcement,

“We’ll announce something in the next several weeks that will hopefully position the DC characters and the movies we’re going to be making,” Robinov said.

actually now that I read it it sure sounds like Superman is gonna have someting you are gonna want to see post credits.

getting out stories that we want to see in print and haven’t necessarily been in print yet (because that would just be repetitive), or long runs that have never been collected together in one volume.

And importantly;

None of the other lines will be adversely affected by these new volumes! So for example, we won’t get rid of titles like Iron Man: Demon in a Bottle or Spider-Man: Kraven’s Last Hunt once those runs are within one of these Epic Collections.

So they're like the Essential collections, but in color?

About ****ing time.

All great books. Most of them nominated for multiple awards.

That looks EXACTLY like Men In Black.

But I liked Men In Black and I like Jeff Bridges.

So I'm in.
