I just want a Dredd sequel simply because they said they had a 3 movie plan which woulda brought the Dark Judges. I think the world was established nicely as a semi-realistic thing, but if they were going Dark Judges they HAD to have a plan to subvert that a little bit. Still want the big ass eagle on the shoulder, but Urban did Dredd proud. Hell, even Kingsqueen, who I kinda dragged, dug the movie a lot.

Well, took forever for the second one...so I guess it's a good thing they want to fast track the third. Still think the first is truly epic stuff that captures the source material almost flawlessly.

I love the books, and was initially ecstatic about the first movie. I didn't think it stood up to repeat viewings, though, and I'm a little skeptical of the second movie. It may sound odd, but I wish neither Rodriguez nor Miller were involved. Hopefully, my skepticism leads to my enjoyment of the movie.
