I have to think the Pine deal takes GL off the table...UNLESS, they are going to make Steve Trevor GL, which really isn't as horrible an idea as it sounds. After all, without any kind of change to the character, he is just standard beefcake love interest.


The Tatum thing confounds me. He PUSHED to make this happen, and unless he is negotiating in public, it means he has cold feet. I still do not understand the audience for a 140 million dollar plus Gambit flick, but I seriously doubt it without Tatum in the part to put moist women in the seats. More to come on this one for sure.

EDIT: Y'know, DC has only called Pine's part in WW 'the love interest'. It's all the sites that just assumed Steve Trevor. Suppose his name is Hal Jordan instead. And for such an inconsequential part, it sure took a LOT of negotiating. Cause this took a long time to finally get done.

Did I tell you about my dad's cousin? Lol!

He was much more of a collector and had so many LPs, I mean, we are talking about the '70's, before I was born. My pop was into lighter stuff say The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zep, Santana.

But his cousin was into what at that time was the darker stuff, Black Sabbath, Kiss, who all the parents thought was demonic, lol, and Uriah Heep and Alice Cooper!!

But he converted into Jehovah's Witnesses and threw his whole collection into the garbage pail! My dad was pissed and asked him, really, why didn't you just give me your stuff, lol, and he said, I didn't want to corrupt you, lol.

My, G-d, so many first pressings, but anyhoow, my point, and I do have a point, your generation, who were kids during the '70's, not adults like the baby boomers appreciate this stuff, plus religion? :rolleyes:
