The Comic Books and Comic Book movies thread

This is good news. Has there been any comment who is going to play Yorick?

The real question is if Mitchrock will be offered the role of the monkey? :monkeyhump:

I am pretty excited about this. All of the talk of making a movie about this made me argue that this needs to be a tv series and not a movie, and it seems, that I might get what I want for once. ;)

But I think I wanted a live action version of this!! :pssst:

Dunno, this doesn't look bad though. I was just salivating at the idea of a live action Deadman. I'll compromise and take a live action Zatanna movie. ;)

I just had flashbacks about that Jonah Hex movie, and maybe, I should be careful about what I ask for, lol, but my geeky ways makes me want more DC movies. :P

JLDark is still getting made. Doug Liman(Go, Mr and Mrs Smith, that Tomorrow flick with Cruise/Blunt) is now directing. Pretty sure I got at least a few articles posted in the DC thread.

Schlock & Awe: SHOGUN ASSASSIN
http://nerdist.com/schlock-awe-shogun-assassin/

The ultimate success of Shogun Assassin comes not from what was changed by Robert Houston for an American release, but how much remained the same. Once the story got going, he let the original’s distinctive visuals and in-your-face gore do the talking. While the Lone Wolf and Cub movies should be seen by samurai movie fans everywhere, Shogun Assassin is a worthy remix.
