The other teams thread

Well, not bad making that kind of a save Skinner made on that 2-on-1 chance by the Panthers. But I doubt his goaltending abilities as he's nowhere near Bobrovsky's level.

End of 1st. Those costly miscues by the Cats led to Edmonton scoring three goals that period. Nevertheless, Florida managed to soften up the damage done by scoring one goal. The Cats have got to readjust in the next two periods and buckle up for more intensity as the Oilers aren't going to go down quietly and are looking to avoid the dreaded sweep.

Give me a break, McDouche scores and it's 4-1 Edmonton. It's his first goal in the Finals. Eck. The Cats commit another needless miscue and got burned again.

Well, looks like the Oilers are going to avoid a sweep here. 5-1 Edmonton. Bobrovsky all of a sudden is turning into a sieve and the Cats' vaunted defense is becoming uncharacteristically porous. It seems like Edmonton really must had a fire lit inside them after dropping the first 3 games in the Finals. It looked like Florida had some hope getting back within one after surrendering the first two goals. But then they inexplicably collapsed after that.

Hopefully, the Cats will regain their form in Game 5 'cause this is the worst game they've played here not only in the Finals, but in the playoffs. And good lord, the announcing is super-horrible. The crew really aren't even bothering to hide their love for the Soilers. Yuck. And it's not just on ESPN, but ABC as well. Bettman is an embarrassment to this league and how he still manages to keep his job as commissioner of this league is a mystery only the league and Bettman himself can answer.

I seriously hope now this is just to win the cup in Florida.

A sweep is pretty hard to come by in the Finals. Dunno. We'll see how the Cats reset. Tonight is gone.

At least we get to hang out with each other here for at least one more game this season. :mhihi: ;) :cheers

Not since 1998. The Panthers may regret giving the Oilers renewed life on all fronts. Then again, maybe it's just a stinker that has snowballed. Still, they better win it in game 5.

Well, the Panthers had won 6 in a row prior to tonight's debacle. Not that a beat-down was what was expected, but that the OIL got a win is not surprising. Wish however someone from FLA would've run Drai. (And Shania Twain too, never liked her music, and now I have one more reason to dislike her.)

This debacle by the Panthers better be just one game, 'cause if they continue to display this inexcusably terrible effort that they have shown earlier tonight in the next game or so, this is all on the players for easing up when they had no real reason to. You can't just laze around and let the McOverrated and Crysaitl Show have their way like they did with the Kings and Stars. This is not only the playoffs but the Cup Finals for goodness sake and there is absolutely no time or place to cool off and let the other team dominate (and I'm berating the Cats here after taking the first three games, while I prefer to see Deadmonton get the short end of the stick in the Finals).

Game 5 will be back at Sunrise and so the Cats better shake off that Game 4 fiasco and get back to what they were doing in the first three games in the Finals, but mainly the first two games when they were actually dominating the Oilers.
