Credit to Arvy, that was quite a way to beat an icing call. And then the farthest chip over the glass for a delay of game I’ve ever seen.
 
Deadmonton is guilty of a high-sticking penalty. Though it's only a 2-minute PP for Florida. Come on, Cats, you're on your 2nd PP this game.
 
Okay, the 2nd period ends. Florida still has the lead at 2 goals while Deadmonton has been held scoreless for the past 40 minutes. However, if Florida does not score in the 3rd, that will really rally Deadmonton to take over the period and either tie the game or take over the lead. No more sitting back, Cats. The next 20 minutes will decide the series.
 
This was more the style of play I expected from Game 1. Both teams slogging through this one. I guess the extended breaks between games were part of the reason Games 1-4 were so entertaining.
 
Oilers only wake up when they are down 0-3. So the Cats will score their third goal with 3 seconds left in the game. :manybeers:
 
Did I just see a Cats fan pretending to wear a Soilers jersey over his Cats jersey? Or was it a disheartened Soilers fan switching sides? Heh.
 
Eww, McPrincess scores. 3-1 Florida. Better watch it, Cats, you don't want to risk another collapse like what happened in Game 4. There's still a lot of time left in the 3rd period.
 
Reinhart scores! 4-1 Florida! That'll definitely shut up the Deadmonton crowd. Insurance goals are a must for a team who has the lead, especially in the playoffs and doubly so in the Cup Finals.
