SJ and Seattle too.

Kings will be looking up at them for the next 5+ years unfortunately. Hopefully we can execute a proper rebuild, you have to go through the pain to get there.
Why would we rebuild? We brought Holland in to get us deeper into the playoffs this season. /s

^^^This is what is so demoralizing about the Kings rn. The teams below us have kids who are in the top 5 in scoring. The teams are starting to gel. Meanwhile we brought in a bunch of grandpas to play defense for the next 3-4 years and overpaid to do so. Aside from Greentree, we don't have any elite young forwards and even he doesn't project as a top scorer. As somone else said, our super deep farm system is down to Byfield, Clarke, and Turc and it is unclear if any of those will turn into an all-star level player.

That Ducks-Knights game last night was also way more enjoyable to watch than a recent Kings game.

Ekholm is 35 and fading, IMO. That and their forward depth took a hit. Can't say that I am mad about that.
I think they're fwd depth is ok. They can't defend. Roslovic was a good add. When Hyman comes back they will be fine offensively. Was hoping we got roslovic 2 yrs ago.

Anaheim won 7 game in a row and every single game they at least scored 4 goals. Winnipeg was swept in CALIFORNIA.Now I am not impressed by Kings win.

I made the mistake of watching the 3rd period of the Ducks/Jets game tonight. This is like a bad dream..

At a certain point, we should just accept that we are no longer going to crap on good hockey, regardless. I'm there now. Disregard the gif, I'm sure it's not "EMBARRASSING".

The Ducks have been without Gudas and Granlund and are still playing very good hockey. What kind of dream would it be if the Kings are sellers at the deadline and Perry moves back to the Ducks and takes them to the SCF.

I imagine it's how Holland pitched it to Corey to begin with, clearly it's 4d chess. Ken has to break us down before he can build us up.

My guess is Kardi is getting spray-tanned now to fit in at the Boba tea line when Ken pulls the trigger.

In this scenario Kempe is also gone.

Damn! The Oilers are just terrible. Defenseless. Columbus is manhandling them. Blue Jackets up 3-1 after 2 periods in Edmonton.
If Kings look like an unconfident team the Oilers look like they simply do not care. Bizarrely slow. Allowing Blue Jackets to skate all over them in their own zone.

Yeah, Bouchard is always awful defensively early in the year. Once he gets going, he elevates his D game to just "ok". He makes some of the dumbest decisions. I guess Ceci playing on the same team can look like a solid player.
