Tried Stone Ruination IPA for the first time over the weekend. Great beer.
One of my favorites!
I just tried Sam Smith's IPA and it is quite refreshing also!

Picked up more Dogfish 90 Min IPA and Stone's Ruination in a 6er. Wanted hoppy beers to deal with this summer heat.
any of you ever had Firestone's California Pale Ale?
oh man, that shiz was the bomb! perfect for the end of a hot day.

I really like their Double Barrel Ale. I am going to have to try that
I had this last night. Pretty Good IPA. Not as hoppy as I expected. This was supposed to be a double. It could have been the heat of something but I have had much hoppier

That is a goddamn good beer ! We had that at a recent Double IPA tasting. One of the best DIPAs out there for sure. Where did you get yours from? It's pretty hard to come by !
I liked the beer. Just not as hoppy as I would think. I grabbed a 22 ouncer at the Bevmo in Irvine on Sunday. One of the employees there recommended it and they had it in the back. Maybe call around and see if the ones by you have it.
It sounds like your BevMo and the one Mitch goes to are far better than the ****ty one we have here in Glendora. I go to Lone Hill Liquor which is leagues above BevMo, but still it sounds like you guys are picking up some stuff that I can't really seem to get up my way.
I really don't care much for Marin. I find them to be very average at best, but definitely was impressed with the white knuckle. You're right, it wasn't very hoppy but the flavor was excellent.

Have you guys seen any of the new Southern Hemisphere Harvest Ale from Sierra Nevada? I've heard that Hollingshead is carrying it, and might try to snag some next time I am in the OC area for work.
