This beer rules! I really like Deschutes' high end beers. This is up there with the Abyss. It's an aged barelywine but smooth as silk

BTW, I think Deschutes moved up into my top 5 breweries, especially after having the Black Butte XX several months ago.

Abyss, I'll give you that. I'm still going to reserve judgment on Mirror Mirror until I try some for myself.
What stores have you been able to find Mirror Mirror at? I had to order mine online from Liquid Solutions.
I love Deschutes beers, even the Mirror Pond pale ale is good. I discovered them a few years ago when we were fishing on the Deschutes River and it was one of the few beers they had in the local resort's store.

my older brother lived in New Market (just outside of Cambridge) for about 7 years and when he would come back to the states he would bring a bunch of stuff back for me to try
huge fan of english ales as well as reds & ambers, not a fan of IPA's or traditional european lagers

Have you ever seen how fast Abyss or Black Butte fly off the shelves? The Mirror Mirror was a disapointment...IMO. Seems to be the same consensus from a majority of craft brew fans posting on BeerAdvocate as well.
