It has been a great beer week for me, and it's not over yet. I went to the 4th annual Inland Empire Beer and Food Truck event in Riverside. This is one beerfest that more than lived up to the hype. The largest brewers there, were Stone, Ballast Point, Hanger 24 and Golden Road, so it was a true craft beer fest. I paid extra for the VIP ticket, which allowed me entrance an hour before the main crowd, plus 5 additional tasters. For $40 entrants were granted 15 taters, for $50.00 you got 20 tasters plus a fenced off area with tables and chairs. The nice thing, was that they really weren't very good about marking off when you had a tater. I had 7 marks on my band, and tried at least 29 different beers. The Bruery had a table set up in the VIP area, so you were also able to have exclusive access to their table. Really impressed by some beers by Donkey Punch Brewing, Claremont Craft Ales and Vinaceous by Hanger 24. The Bruery's White Chocolate was going as fast as they could serve it. More Beer was there at all with a variety of beers that they have brewed at their store in Riverside. They had an incredible Chocolate Cherry Stout.
The on to Eureka Burger in Claremont, where I had Pliny the Younger. Looking forward to finishing the week off in Seal Beach with more Younger and other good brews at Beachwood BBQ.
