I'm just reading this and WTF?? I LOVED that TJ's! I live in Hollywood and that's the one I always used to go to because it had awesome parking. I hate the other ones you mention, especially the new one by the Farmer's Market. That parking is made for those mushroom cars. I think almost all their spaces are compact. I now go to the one below the W hotel. It's ok, but I hate that you have to get a parking ticket and validation.

Good news/bad news...I have heard that that location could be part of whatever monstrous multi-use eyesore they cram into that lot. It goes without saying that the convenience will not be part of the rebuild. And yeah, the Farmers Market one is made worse by the rude self-centered *******s who inhabit it. Everytime I have been there I rant out loud at people that block the aisle with their carts, walk right into you or just generally exhibit all the horrible traits of humanity.

I just passed by the old Santa Monica TJ's and the whole strip mall is desolate. Wonder what they plan to build there? Probably some more multi-use housing. That area is just so crammed with the Target. Oh well, I'm just glad that there's going to be a new Target way closer to my place on Sunset and Western!

Seeing this item in the "Favorite Sports Bar food" thread got me wondering, does anyone recall TJ's carrying jalapeno poppers? I don't, but it would be right up their alley...

I see Cookie Butter all the time at TJ. I wanna buy it, but I don't exactly know how to use it.

Eat it by the spoonful because it is crack. I like the crunchy cookie butter better.

i put the smooth cookie butter on cupcakes.
i put either the smooth or crunchy in crepes.

i can also buy the original speculoos cookie butter at the dutch store in bellflower without having to show up to the store at 8am before their daily allotment is sold out.
looks like this:

So...TJ's created this thing called Corn Pudding for the holidays. Just convection ovened it...and...
GREATEST THING EVER

till I go all jackpot corn poop in the morning.

Oh...seriously...**** you and the open trade horse you rode in on TJ...these just are sexual chocolate. Honestly, it is **** like this that makes it so easy for me to not eat meat. BTW...these

are almost $5 in every grocery store. $2.49 in TJ's. Was getting tired of cheese sammies, this really gives the illusion of a cold cut sandwich. You gotta dress it up, but some nice mustard, horsey sauce, pickles and stuff...and you might think you are having a nice sammie.

I know it seems kinda odd/white trashy/whatever but I make a fine Boboli Pizza. and I am constantly on the lookout for a good glass jar pizza sauce. Classico is good, Ragu...can't beat the classics, but this

May be my go to. Real solid and reasonably priced.

HUGE sricha fan, and yeah...the original is the baseline, but TJ's takes the formula and gives you something a little different...less heat but more flavor. I keep em both on hand, but this is definitely as valid as the big Rooster.

I've seen that Sricha at TJ's and I only assumed the difference was a Dragon on the bottle. ;)

I assumed it tasted the same.
