Carrie Fisher and Barbara Streisand are not in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Legend has it, however, that director Steven Spielberg wanted to play a practical joke on his star, Harrison Ford, while filming a scene where Indy is captured by the Thuggee. Spielberg got the famous singer to dress up as a dominatrix and whip him. Then, the story goes that Carrie Fisher popped in with Empire Strikes Back director Irvin Kershner. Rumors of this footage have been whispered between Indiana Jones fans for years and now, finally, JoBlo has found it. The quality isn’t great; it looks bad, and sounds bad. But it’s better to have a raw version of this gem than none at all.

I feel the need to tell someone this thought and this seems as good a place as any.

I'm ****ing tired of the argument that the Star Wars movies belong to Lucas and he can change them as he sees fit.

That's bull****.

Empire was directed by Irvin Kirshner and written by Leigh Brackett and Lawrence Kasdan.
Jedi was directed by Richard Marquand and written by Lawrence Kasdan.

Those are NOT "George Lucas' movies" anymore than Lawrence of Arabia was a "Horizon Pictures movie".

Lucas owns the rights to those flicks so he obviously retains the legal right to alter them in anyway he sees fit. But to declare them "his masterpieces" and insist that he has the "artistic right" to alter them at his whim for years to come should be considered an insult to all the other people who had creative input on the making of those films.

**** George Lucas. He's an *******.
 
The worst is all the brown-nosers who probably tell him how brilliant these ideas are.

"I was a cowbell sound when Luke loses his hand".

"Great idea Mr. Lucas".

GL's boner for himself grows that much more.
