Mark Hamill Suggests Carrie Fisher Replace Trump's Star on Walk of Fame [Updated]
https://screenrant.com/mark-hamill-carrie-fisher-trump-walk-of-fame-star/

BTW, Trump's star has been rescinded...

Hamill's comments come on the heels of Trump's star on the Walk of Fame being desecrated once again. And because of the president's comments on social media and in the press over the years, the West Hollywood City Council is planning to vote on the star's potential removal, citing "disturbing treatment of women and other actions that do not meet the shared values of the City of West Hollywood, the region, state, and country." Update: The West Hollywood City Council has voted unanimously to remove Donald Trump's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Rian Johnson’s New Star Wars Trilogy Rumored To Be In Trouble
http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/rian-johnson-new-star-wars-trilogy-trouble/

They really just need to roll with the new movie next year, then let it sit there for a while.

They can still sell plenty of toys and t-shirts in the meantime, especially with the new "lands" coming to the parks next summer. "Resistance" is coming out in a couple of months. They've got the TV show in development.

And while that goes on, take the time to develop the one-off Kenobi movie, announce it at a con or D23 in '21 with Ewan McGregor attached, then release in late '23 or '24. That would be nearly 5 years between movies. And if you do another trilogy, make it 3 years (at least) between installments.

There. Now, Disney, I've solved your problem. I'll take 1% of the profits or a small parcel of land in the Hollywood Hills with a life-sized replica of the Millenium Falcon (original trilogy, please) that has been made into an actual, livable house with power and plumbing and all that. Maybe you can throw in a salt water pool and some theme-appropriate landscaping.

Jon Favreau Unveils Details For His ‘Star Wars’ Live-Action Streaming Series ‘The Mandalorian’

https://deadline.com/2018/10/star-wars-jon-favreau-series-the-mandalorian-boba-fett-1202475775/

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order.

So basically that time period that non of the live action movies have ruined yet, haha. ;)

Speaking of which, nobody seems to've posted this.

Anybody 'round here catch "Rebels?" Anyone interested in this besides me?

I loved Rebels and Clone Wars...so far kinda ho hum on Resistance.

Read somewhere today that any Boba Fett movie has officially been canned. I wonder if this has anything to do with a) their desire to pull back on one shots and/or b) Favreau's Mandalorian live action TV show.

I was kinda ho hum on Clone Wars and Rebels at the start. They were both very kid-focused to start. So I'm not surprised that this one's starting off the same way.

But this one is so pretty.

CASSIAN ANDOR LIVE-ACTION SERIES ANNOUNCED

DIEGO LUNA RETURNS AS THE ROGUE ONE HERO IN A SPY THRILLER FOR DISNEY'S DIRECT-TO-CONSUMER STREAMING SERVICE.

The series, which will go into production next year, follows the adventures of rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor.

I tend to like good guys who're willing to make morally ambiguous choices, so I dug Cassian in "Rogue One." I'm hopeful about this show, though I do worry that between it and "The Mandalore" or whatever, there'll be more than one show kind of hitting the same "underworld" note.

But, hey! Maybe K2-SO shows up!

On the other hand, I'm gonna have to pay for the streaming service? Bummer.
