the Thank God It's Friday...We Will Rebuild thread.

80's electronic bands it is.....

80's club Bangers, my guy! Nice.
This song is by Peaches and it always reminds me of the first dance at Dax and Ron's wedding from Letterkenny.

Counterfeit was such an underrated release.
Real talk: Went to grab a coffee today and "Compulsion" was playing, Googled that sh*t in line. Sigh. Have been singing it ever since (a delightful earworm), serendipity, right place at the right time or Martin Gore's pride status, whatever? The kat could write a song.

Something tells me you had that EP as a cassette single and stole your dad's el Camino to blast it. =)

Not exactly. It was released in 1989 so I had it on CD and cranked it in my Honda Civic. :mhihi:

Oddly, Martin did not write a single song on that E.P.

*laughing* The thing about one's mind's eye, it just refuses to do the research. Lazy bastard. A honda civic, eh? An 89 Honda Prelude would have been funnier. =)

Hey, my 1989 Civic just so happend to be a "hot hatch" as Jezza and the Hamster would say.
Facts.

No tea, no shade (read: I am neither mocking you, nor putting your personal business on the internet to be mocked), I'm just here for the laughs. And, I got to post the "this is brilliant. but I like this one." image. Good times.

This should go in "random thoughts thread" but I'm already typing, so, I have a theory that any Top Gear episode where James has brown hair is a great episode. Reason: He would give a clearly on the spectrum answer and Jezza and Hammond would fall out laughing, everytime. And he would just look puzzled by their reaction (comedy straight man) like, you could see the thought bubble over his head reading: 'all the information I provided was correct and the viewer would enjoy this', followed by just a blank stare. After he went grey, he just looked pissed, then sad.

Aside: The last episode of the Grand Tour the boys did something nice for James (let him conduct a train) while acknowledging it and that made my heart smile.

Spoiler:
May's revenge: He deletes them both from his phone. My guy.
